Resorts on the
Island of
Tenerife

The South of Tenerife Island offers many and varied attractions for all its visitors, apart from the endless beaches. There are some exciting holiday resorts and some fabulous restaurants, plus there are also some first class shows for evening entertaining as well as a thousand other options to fill up the day and night.
Anything from a quiet day on the beach to playing golf or exiting adventure sports like quad bike trekking to undersea exploration in a submarine. It is all close to the main holiday resorts with short and easy transfers or even a free pickup service.

In the South
Playa de Los Critianos
&
Playa de Los Americas

The resorts of Playa de Los Cristianos & Playa de Los Americas together make up a single location for leisure and fun. They are joined by a waterfront walkway running along side the beach for several kilometres, and it is possible to walk up to Costa Adeje. On the way there are some very good cafes where all manner of delicious pastries are available with a good cup of tea or coffee depending on your preference. A late full breakfast costs as little as 3 – 5 euros including a glass of fresh juice this relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere fills the streets and avenues every morning,

Beaches in the South

The beaches along the way are very lively in the morning as people are arriving for their daily sunbathing. For the more energetic there are people playing beach volley ball, there are jet skies for hire at some of the beaches. In the afternoons and evenings the terrace cafes and bars are redolent of the same holiday atmosphere. With an abundance of shopping centres a casino and first class shows as well as active leisure in the form of mini golf (see Photos) there are many other options being offered.

In the North
Puerto de la Cruz
&
the Orotava Valley

The current success of Tenerife as a holiday destination is a consequence of the fruitful work of the historical pioneers of the local tourism. It is in Puerto de la Cruzwhere this long holiday tradition has its main roots. This holiday town, together with La Orotava and Los Realejos, is set in the Orotava Valley, a place characterised by an exceptional climate, the extraordinary abundance of historical heritage and the natural beauty of its views and sights.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife &
La Laguna
The cities of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and San Cristbal de La Laguna make up a dynamic and modern metropolitan area which blends the infrastructure and activity that is proper to two European towns with their many places of interest.
History, culture and shopping go hand in hand together with a number of excellent hotels and other places to stay. There is the world famous adventure park “ Loro Parque “which is far more than a zoo with some spectacular shows and plenty to do for everyone, a link to their web site is at the bottom of this page. To round this area off there is the Anaga Massif, near to both of the cities this is one of the most natural areas of scenic and ecological value on Tenerife.
